We just got back from looking at some property that we thought may have been what we needed for Veterans Village. It was not a large enough parcel to put 30 tiny homes on so we will keep looking. I did find out that we did not need the 10 acres that I originally was looking for but that, if the land was flat, we could get by with 4-5 acres. That is good news. I will keep you updated.

Last evening I went to the Genesse Idaho City Council meeting to share about Veterans Village. They were very supportive of the mission to build a tiny home community for veterans in their town. I really like that area and I feel that we need to focus on looking for property in that area to be donated. The town is small, has a senior center, has a good infrastructure and it would be a great place to locate our community.

We went to look at a piece of property that we though may have worked but it was to small and it had was not as flat as we wanted. We will keep looking! We did find out that we did not need 10 acres but only 4-5 so that was a positive outcome for the day.

Good morning, Last week I told you about the launch of a non-profit organization called Veterans Village. This organization believes in safe and secure housing for veterans who are not ready for a nursing home but will need to have a small place to call their own. To help with the start up costs of getting this organization as in filing with the IRS and publishing our website etc, I have made a queen size military quilt. I have been collecting military patches (and my friend

In June of 2025 I began working on a project that I believe with all my heart, soul, and spirit was at the direction of the Lord. He told me to start a non-profit organization to build a community of tiny homes for veterans in the Lewiston Idaho area. We are now a non-profit organization in the state of Idaho called “Veterans Village”. We will be sending the paperwork to the IRS to register as a 501-c-3 in a few weeks. If you believe in the vision please give a donation to of
